We are happy to announce that Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-ass Students (PLANCKS) is back. PLANCKS an annual international theoretical physics competition organised by the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) for bachelor and masters students. Teams of 3-4 students will compete for 4 hours to solve challenging problems from various topics in physics. Organised by Physik UP – the physics student association of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, the international final round will take place from May 6-9, 2021.

Physics and Applied Physics Division, from the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, is organising Singapore's official Preliminary 2021 supported by the Odyssey Programme. It will take place on February 27-28 and the winning team will be representing Singapore in the international PLANCKS. On top of the actual competition, there is also a scientific program which will be announced soon.
